Fithelia Terms of Service
Agreement to the Terms
By using Fithelia, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
Service Description
Fithelia is a personal AI food companion for Android. It lets users take meal photos and receive personalized meal guidance based on the meal, preferences, dietary needs, foods to avoid, goals, feedback, and prior Meal Memories.
Eligibility
You must be able to form a binding agreement or have permission from a parent or legal guardian where required. Do not use Fithelia if applicable law prohibits you from using the service.
Anonymous Account and Device Access
Fithelia currently uses Firebase anonymous authentication rather than user-created email and password accounts. Access may be tied to an anonymous app account and your device environment.
User Responsibilities
You are responsible for the information you provide, for checking guidance before relying on it, and for using Fithelia in a lawful and reasonable way.
Photo and Content Permissions
You give Fithelia permission to process meal photos and related information you provide so the app can operate, generate AI-assisted meal analysis, remember feedback, provide support, protect the service, and meet applicable obligations.
AI Limitations
AI output may be incomplete, incorrect, or not suitable for your situation. Fithelia is designed to provide practical support, not guaranteed results.
Nutrition and Medical Disclaimer
Fithelia provides everyday nutrition and wellness support only. It is not medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Talk to a qualified professional about medical conditions, nutrition decisions, eating disorders, allergies, pregnancy, medications, or any other health concern.
Allergy and Food-Safety Warning
Do not rely on Fithelia to determine whether food is safe for an allergy or ingredient restriction. You must independently verify ingredients, preparation, cross-contact risks, and food safety.
Premium Subscriptions
Premium subscriptions are sold through Google Play. Prices and billing periods are displayed by Google Play before purchase. Subscriptions may renew automatically according to the terms shown at purchase.
Renewal, Cancellation, and Refunds
Users manage or cancel subscriptions through Google Play. Deleting Fithelia data does not automatically cancel a Google Play subscription. Refunds are handled under Google Play's applicable policies and mandatory consumer law.
Acceptable Use
Do not misuse Fithelia, interfere with the service, attempt unauthorized access, submit unlawful content, abuse support channels, or use the service in a way that harms others or violates applicable law.
Intellectual Property
Fithelia and its software, design, text, and related materials are owned by Fithelia or its licensors. These terms do not transfer ownership rights to you.
Third-Party Services
Fithelia relies on third-party services including Firebase, Google Cloud, Google Gemini, Google Play Billing, and RevenueCat. Their own terms and policies may apply to parts of your use.
Service Availability and Changes
Fithelia may change, suspend, or discontinue features. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free availability.
Suspension or Termination
We may suspend or terminate access if we reasonably believe use violates these terms, creates risk, or is unlawful. You may stop using Fithelia at any time.
Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability
Fithelia is provided as available and as permitted by law. To the extent allowed by law, Fithelia is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for losses caused by reliance on AI guidance. Nothing in these terms limits liability where it cannot legally be limited.
Consumer Rights
Nothing in these terms limits mandatory rights you may have under applicable consumer protection laws.
Changes to Terms
We may update these terms as Fithelia changes. The effective date above shows when this version became effective.
